In a recent interview with Athletic Club Momento, Jack Grealish revealed what he thought about his ex-teammate Gabriel Jesus.
Not only he revealed his frightening presence in the training field. He also revealed what Saka thinks of the Brazilian striker.
Jesus is surely having a great time at Emirates as Arsenal are currently top of the league. No one can deny Jesus’s role in helping Gunners achieve this success.
Grealish has nothing but praises for Gabriel Jesus
Despite all the appreciation, Grealish believes that he deserves more credit. They both have been teammates in the oast for Manchester City.
Recently, he revealed how amazing he was with Jesus during their time in Manchester City.
Grealish said to the Athletic club montero,
“Ask anyone that’s played with him – I know he’s getting more recognition now, but he’s the main man,“
“In training, honestly, he was frightening. I spoke to Saka last month and he was like: ‘Jack, he’s unbelievable’. Jesus’ play is just this mix of proper rawness and skill. He’s a lovely guy, but he’s so hungry and aggressive when he plays.“
Although with his 5 goals in 14 games are a bit underwhelming and his criticism is justified.
His last goal was two months back against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby. It surely gave him hope of securing a position in Brazil’s team for the world cup.
However, goals are not a good criterion to judge him as he brings a lot of other things on the table. only Kevin de Bryune has more assisted in the premier league than Jesus.
Arsenal surely has no issue with his signing and Grealish also believes that it was a mistake by manchester city to let him leave the team.
