Tottenham could reportedly sell Giovani Lo Celso in the January transfer window

Tottenham are reportedly open to selling Giovani Lo Celso in the January transfer window. Hence, multiple European clubs are monitoring his situation.

The Spurs rejected bids in the summer because Ange Postecoglou rates him very highly. However, the Argentina midfielder has failed to start this season after a good pre-season.

According to reports, Tottenham are open to selling Giovani Lo Celso in the January transfer window. The reports also claim that Spurs could demand a fee in the region of 25 million. Lo Celso is in contract with the Spurs till 2025 summer transfer window. Hence, the Premier League giants can ask for a big fee in the January transfer window.

Tottenham did not sell Giovani Lo Celso this summer transfer window. They rejected multiple enquires from top European clubs. It is also because manager Ange Postecoglou rates him very highly. Therefore, they allowed Ndombele to leave this summer for Turkish giants Galatasaray. However, it looks like Spurs are open to selling him to increase their January funds.

BARCELONA AND OTHER TOP EUROPEAN CLUBS ARE SHOWING INTEREST IN GIOVANI LO CELSO

According to reports, Barcelona and other top European clubs are monitoring the situation of the Tottenham midfielder. Barca tried to sign him this summer on loan. However, Spurs immediately rejected the proposal early in the summer transfer window. Therefore, the Spanish giants did not pursue the interest further.

However, Barcelona could again launch a bid to sign the Tottenham midfielder. Although, they can only afford Lo Celso on loan in the January transfer window. Whereas, Spurs want to sell him permanently. Therefore, there is a chance that the Premier League giants will wait for the right offer. They are aware that other top European clubs are also monitoring the situation of the Argentina midfielder.

Tottenham are currently in brilliant form this season. They also do not have the pressure of European football this season. Hence, Ange Postecoglou is aware that this is the best time to sell the fringe players and get his own signings in the January transfer window.
