Tottenham are reportedly working on the contract extension of Son Heung-min. This is also because they do not want lose him like Harry Kane.
Hence, a long term contract with the player is the preferred option for the Spurs. The Premier League giants want Son to stay for the rest of his playing career and beyond.
TOTTENHAM WANT TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT OF THEIR CLUB CAPTAIN
According to reports, Tottenham want to extend the contract of Son Heung-min. The report also claims that the early talks with his agent were positive. Hence, the Premier League giants should have no problems in a new contract extension. However, to avoid any issues for the present, the Spurs will activate an extra year option in his contract.
This also means that Tottenham have him till the 2026 summer transfer window. The contract of Son Heung-min expires in the 2025 summer transfer window. However, Spurs have the option to extend it for a further year. Although, the Premier League giants want the South Korean star to sign a long term contract extension for the next five seasons.
