As per many reports, Tottenham are very much open to transfer offers for their 27 year old Brazilian striker Richarlison. He has not been in his best form last season due to which many criticised him.
This summer, Tottenham is preparing for a busy transfer window as they are fully focused on rebuilding the team. They intend to sell several star players who are heavily linked with other clubs. One of those stars is Richarlison. The Brazilian striker struggled pretty badly in his first season with the London club. Scoring just 11 goals in the league after the amount of money he was brought into the club is not justified. Tottenham just missed their spot in the top 4 barely which resulted to them not able to participate in the next Champions League.
Situation regarding Richarlison at Tottenham
Richarlison’s future at Spurs is up in the air. There is no concrete decision on his future. Former Tottenham scout Bryan King does not want the Brazilian to stay at Tottenham. Through his words, we could clearly understand that Richarlison’s bad form is not something he expected with the money Spurs paid for him.
“When you’ve been bought for an enormous amount of money, that also means you’re on enormous wages. Therefore, the only way that Spurs will be able to get rid of Richarlison is by finding a club willing to take on his wages or releasing him.”

However, it does not seem like Tottenham have any plans on terminating his contract. They are not going to terminate Richarlison’s contract. But the London club might look for options regarding him. A yearlong loan spell or selling him for a good amount is what they are looking for.

As per reports, Tottenham have received many offers from the Saudi clubs. They are very much keen on signing the Brazilian striker. However, Tottenham does not agree with the pricing on their player. They believe that if they have to let go of the striker, they should get a good amount of money. Richarlison’s current valuation is €35 million. So it’s unlikely for Tottenham to sell him below €50 million.
How are Tottenham looking in this summer?
Tottenham have not started their summer transfer yet. There is no concrete news on whom they are trying to buy. But after last season, everybody knows that Ange Postecoglou is trying to improve the team in both attack and defence. They are linked with many players like Desire Doue, and Pedro Neto. However, they haven’t made any moves for them till now.

Meanwhile, they are developing their youth squads. On X (formerly Twitter) they announced the signing of many young 16 year old players. Spurs are trying to improve their club as a whole including their youth. This could be a sign of them trying to invest well for the future.
