The Inter striker has been in an incredible form in this Copa America, scoring in every match of the group stage. His World Cup campaign did not go as planned. However, he is making up for it by stepping up at every game of this Copa America.

Also, till now, Lionel Messi has not registered a goal for himself in this year’s competition. The Inter Miami playmaker, has failed to score in the group stages. Still, he has provided an assist in the first game against Canada. But this is not the first time that La Pulga has not scored a goal in the group stages of an international tournament. 2007 Copa America and 2010 South Africa World Cup are the other competitions where Messi failed to score in the group stages.
