Predicted Man United XI vs Crystal Palace

About Football Express UK

Manchester United will again face a clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday for the PL match. The two sides had just met for the Carabao Cup match on Tuesday. However, we can draw a predicted lineup of United XI vs Palace through some introspections and casual observations.

United XI vs Palace:

Andre Onana to start in between the sticks, being an utmost disaster since his arrival and consuming goals one after another as antacid tablets in more or less every match.

Diogo Dalot is the only fit right-back so his selection is quite evident. Raphael Varane is back available, so he’ll share with Victor Lindelof the centre of defence. Lisandro Martinez’s return date is still uncertain. Sergio Reguilon missed the midweek game with illness but he maybe the one in the left back, if fit.

Casemiro was outstanding since his arrival. He’s at his level best and with Sofyan Amrabat back in midfield next to him, the defensive midfield will be quite solid in the coming Saturday. Bruno Fernandes also comes back into the line-up as the main attacking midfielder.

Rasmus Hojlund leads the striker position for the home side, still looking ahead for his first Premier League goal. Marcus Rashford will start in the left-wing position, as obvious. Facundo Pellistri set to continue over on the right-hand side, though recent reports say that Anthony is back at the training ground in Carrington. However, it is still uncertain that when he’ll be back in the playing lineup.

The League table scenario:

Manchester United is currently at the 9th place in the Premier league table. Crystal Palace is just behind them at occupying 10th place with just 1 point behind. The one who’ll win the match will directly jump up to the 7th place. And if the match is drawn, Crystal Palace will overtake the red devils due to their less goal difference than the reds.
