City star Erling Haaland has been badly injured in Norway’s 2-1 win over Georgia and hence is unavailable to play against West Ham. However, Haaland’s injury ahead West Ham clash has boosted up the confidence of David Moyes’s boys.
West Ham so far this season : The hammers have got a pretty good start this season and is still unbeaten. However, their clash with the citizens in Saturday will show whether they’ll able to defend their streak or not.
Haaland’s injury: The Norwegian youngster, Erling Haaland, who also appears to be the key striker of Manchester City got badly injured with the match against Georgia. Though they managed to seal a 2-1 victory, but Haaland got badly injured and left the pitch. He’s still limping and is quite sure not to be available in their Saturday’s Premier league match.
Haaland’s injury ahead West Ham clash: Unarguably, Saturday’s match is of utmost importance for Moyes and co. to defend their streak and to maintain a promising start to the season. However, Haaland’s injury has added butter to the toast as his men are quite boosted up. They’ve regained some hope to beat City and to prove their worth in the league table.
Haaland scored his first goals in England against West Ham on the opening day of last season. Moreover, he broke the record for the most goals in a PL season against the Hammers in the reverse fixture. So it’s quite legit that West Ham fans were hoping him to miss the game.
Although who knows, we may see Haaland in the starting line-up of the match if he recovers even a bit. So it’s better for the hammers not to exaggerate until the match starts, or at least the line-up gets released.
