Jeremy Doku stunned by what one Man City teammate can do

Manchester City

Jeremy Doku has shared his praise for Man City teammate Bernardo Silva and his dribbling ability.

The winger is in the middle of his debut season at the Manchester club after joining from Rennes in a deal worth £55m during the previous summer transfer window.

Now though, the Belgian has taken the time to share his thoughts on some of his teammates and one particular aspect of their game, with one player getting some special praise.

Man City winger Doku amazed by Silva’s dribbling

Speaking in a recent video shared on the club’s official YouTube channel, Doku had this to say about Silva’s dribbling skills.

He said: “He has another way of dribbling than me for example

But the way that the ball keeps on his feet after four, five defenders coming after him. And he’s not strong, he’s not the strongest, he’s not the fastest but the way he keeps the ball, this is like [top tier].”

Man City signed the Portuguese international back in the 2017 summer transfer window from AS Monaco for a fee of £43m.

Since then, Silva has gone on to make 330 appearances for the Citizens across all competitions, scoring 61 goals and providing 63 assists.

In this current Premier League campaign, Doku has made more successful take-ons (44)

And carries into the penalty area (61) than any other City player,

Which shows that he knows what it takes to be a strong dribbler and make things happen in an attacking sense.

This isn’t the first time Silva’s dribbling skills have been spoken about by one of his teammates

As Maximo Perrone said back in July that it used to drive him crazy trying to get the ball off the 29-year-old in training.

Taking all of that into account, it’s clear that moving around the pitch with the ball at his feet is definitely one of the midfielder’s strengths and makes him very difficult for opponents to play against.
