The report also claims that Pep Guardiola’s side will receive £9.74m as the 15%. While they will also be paying £1.46m due to the part that they played in Sancho’s development.

Sancho to Manchester United, does that make them title contenders?

The England international, Jadon Sancho joined City in 2015 from Watford and remained with them till 2017. He was not able to break into the first eleven for the Citizens. Thus, he planned to leave the club to join Borussia Dortmund, for £8m ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Before 2015, Sancho has played for various other clubs like Watford, Manchester City’s U18, U19, & U23 and Borussia Dortmund II & U19 teams. He has also represented England at various youth levels like for the U16, U17 & U19 .

The right-footed winger is highly versatile and can play on either wing or also through the middle. During his time at the Signal Iduna Park Sancho scored 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances in all competitions. While for the german outfit he scored 38 goals and 51 assists in 104 Bundesliga outings.

Dortmund’s ‘young player project’ has helped Sancho function as the focal point of attack for them. Having a core of talented young stars like Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna and Jude Bellingham around him.

Sancho is regarded as a highly technical player. He is known for his tricks, pace and use of feints in one-on-one situations. Moreover, he is recognised as one of the world’s best youth players. Sancho can play the role of a second striker or a wide midfielder typically for a team that plays with a 4-2-3-1 formation.
