During his time at the Signal Iduna Park Sancho scored 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances in all competitions. While for the german outfit he scored 38 goals and 51 assists in 104 Bundesliga outings.
Dortmund’s ‘young player project’ has helped Sancho function as the focal point of attack for them. Having a core of talented young stars like Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna and Jude Bellingham around him.
Sancho is regarded as a highly technical player. He is known for his tricks, pace and use of feints in one-on-one situations. Moreover, he is recognised as one of the world’s best youth players. Sancho can play the role of a second striker or a wide midfielder typically for a team that plays with a 4-2-3-1 formation.
