Inter Milan wants Gabriel Magalhaes

Arsenal Team

According to CMW, Inter Milan wants Arsenal defender Gabriel and are willing to include Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij in a deal. According to the study, Gabriel is worth between £30 million and £34 million.

Gabriel, 24, has been a regular in Arsenal‘s starting lineup since signing from Lille in 2020. Despite having a number of centre-back partners, he has performed admirably under Mikel Arteta, who once described him as “terrific.” He signed for The Gunners for around 27 million pounds. Furthermore, he has played 68 times in all competitions for Arsenal.

Despite holding a contract until June 2025, Gabriel has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer. The footballer, though, is said to be content at the Emirates and is unlikely to seek a move away from North London. He still has three years left on this contract but he is still attracting interest from the top clubs in Europe. His performances for Arsenal have been excellent when he has played.

Inter Milan looking for a young centre back

However, Inter Milan are ready to put Arsenal to the test. They are gearing up for another Champions League campaign after coming second last season, and they want to sign Gabriel to bolster their defence.

Inter are looking for a successor for Milan Skriniar, who could join PSG, and Gabriel is on their list. They are willing to add De Vrij in a deal for between £30 million and £34 million in order to entice the Gunners.

Inter estimates de Vrij is worth £17 million, therefore any potential deal would see Inter cut Arsenal’s asking price in half by bringing in the experienced 30-year-old. However, the Gunners may be put off by his age.

Edu’s transfer strategy has been to sign experienced players between the ages of 20 and 25. Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and others are examples. De Vrij might not be what Edu is looking for.
