Eden Hazard listed by Real Madrid for sale this summer

About Football Express UK

Eden Hazard has been included in the transfer list by his current club Real Madrid. As a result, Chelsea have a big opportunity to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.

The 30-year-old midfielder had a tough time with the Galacticos after being haunted by many injuries. Whereas, he was in top-class form at his former club, Chelsea, who would be looking about a possible reunion.

Although he is favoured by current head coach Carlo Ancelotti, the club is ready to offload him. Additionally, Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel is believed to be a big fan of him. After winning a Champions League, will the Pensioners sign one of their legends and go for the Premier League?

Eden Hazard pushing for a Chelsea reunion

Eden Hazard joined Los Blancos from Chelsea in 2019. Since then, he has made just 43 appearances scoring a mere five goals. His stint at the Spanish capital was excessively shadowed by injuries and fitness concerns.

He led Belgium to the quarterfinals of Euro 2020 where Italy outclassed them 2-1. Although he didn’t score any goals, there was still some glimpses of brilliance seen in his ability.

Although he desires to be leading Real Madrid someday in the future, a return to North London would be a wiser option. Some of the Spanish fans are frustrated by his injuries and lack of quality at times and thus, he might be considering a move to the club that still admires him.

Even head coach Tuchel admires him a lot. Before the semifinal clash against the Madrid club in the Champions League last season, he spoke highly about the Belgian skipper.

“I have the biggest respect for him. He is a big player. We have many people here who know him well. He was a key player for this club now he plays for Real Madrid.”

Currently, only the current Champions League winners are interested in signing him.
