Aston Villa are wanting to redevelop expand and enhance their home ground Villa Park. Aston Villa, based in the Birmingham suburb of Aston, are one of the oldest football clubs in Britain. They were founded in 1874. Aston Villa are the originator of the English Premier League. Moreover, They are one of the five English clubs to have won the European Cup. Furthermore, they have also have 7 Football League First Division, 7 FA Cup, and 5 League Cup. As well as they have 1 European (UEFA) Super Cup. The club are currently ranked 5th in the all-time English top flight table.
Aston Villa were at 14th in the points table, just 10 points above the relegation last season. Not a promising and satisfying result for the Villa fans all around the world. Former Liverpool captain and Aston Villa manager is keen to bring improvements to the Villa side. Moreover, Steven Gerrard’s main objective is to bring his team to the top half of the table. But, somehow, Villa also didn’t have a good start this season. Winning only once in their opening 4 matches. It has been a busy summer transfer season for the former Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard. Signing in the promising player to strengthen his squad. How will Aston Villa upgrade and redevelop Villa Park?
Meanwhile, the Aston Villa council board is working on its stadium development. Villa Park is the stadium of Aston Villa. With a seating capacity of 42,682, it has been the home of Premier League side Aston Villa since 1897. The Stadium has hosted sixteen England internationals at the senior level.
Eventually, the future redevelopment of Villa Park has been an ever-present topic. Under the current ownership of Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, there has been continuous support for the long-term redevelopment of Villa Park.
