Aston Villa recall right-back Kaine Kesler from season long loan

About Football Express UK

Aston Villa has confirmed that they have recalled right-back, Kaine Kesler, from Swindon Town.

The 19-year-old has made his debut for the England international U-20 team. He also has 21 appearances for Swindon Town with a match coming against Manchester City in the FA Cup as well.

Swindon then also announced that they have confirmed the youngster’s departure to his parent club.

A Villa fan has also expressed his opinions on the youngster. “Well, this is a shock. Either we’re loaning him out to a team in a higher league or maybe Matty Cash has Covid or is injured and he’s come back to cover for him. From what we’ve seen though, this kid is perfect for the way we play”

How good is Kaine Kesler?

Kesler is one of the best modern full-backs in football. Kaine can operate down the entire flank with exceptional speed which helps him in both his defensive and attacking abilities.

Kaine Kesler also has great technical abilities and calmness on the ball as well. He has the ability and agility as well to turn a defensive phase into an attacking one. The 17-year-old also has confidence in him to pull off various skills as well. Kesler also likes to utilise his dribbling abilities through the central areas rather than through the flanks. This is an ability that not many full-backs can pull off.

Can Kaine Kesler make it to the first team for Aston Villa?

Currently, Aston Villa only has Matty Cash available at the right-back position. Kesler is versatile and can play as a winger or a wingback as well. The club has minimal depth at the left-back and right-back positions as well.

Villa is struggling with their number of injuries and COVID ridden players as well.
Surely shortly, Kaine can play for Aston Villa.
