Chelsea could sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli in the coming days as the Blues search for a new center-back. Chelsea has also shown interest in Matthjis De Ligt from Juventus and Jules Kounde from Sevilla. However, according to reports, Koulibaly is the primary target for Tuchel and Chelsea.
Chelsea desperately needs a defender as their first-choice center-backs have left the club. Andres Christensen and Antonio Rudiger have left the club as they believed their time at Stamford Bridge was over. Rudiger moves to Real Madrid while Christensen remains a free agent. Chelsea is yet to make an addition

Chelsea wants any one of the two center backs to lead their defense for the next couple of years.
However, they have set their sights on Koulibaly to lead the defense for the next couple of years. Koulibaly, 31, has a lot of experience at the top and is a person who is looked up to at the club. Although his age is of concern as Koulibaly could only have a couple more years at the top. Although Chelsea should take advantage and get Koulibaly to guide their youth for the next couple of years.
