Setback for Luke Shaw, Injury snatches Manchester United’s left-back chances for World-Cup

The 27-year-old Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw might miss his chances in 2022 England’s World-cup squad. The English club from Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, is the club with a worldwide fan following. The Red Devils have won a record 20 League titles, 12 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, as well as a record 21 FA Community Shields. Manchester United under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson era dominated the English Premier League single-handedly. Injuries steal Luke Shaw’s shot in Manchester United and England squad this year

The 27-years-old Luke Shaw is an English left-back, who is a product of Southampton youth academy. In 2011, he made his senior debut for his youth club and eventually caught the eyes of the Manchester United selectors. Furthermore, on June 2014, Luke Shaw made his arrival at Old Trafford for £30 million. Since then, the Englishman has been a prime option at left-back. Luke Shaw is known for his attacking football, speed, decision-making, technique as well as defending skills.

But the 27-year-old is currently struggling with his form in order to remove bolts from his leg surgery, back in 2015. Shaw suffered a double leg fracture in 2015 while making a tackle against Héctor Moreno. He was out for 6 months. Shaw hasn’t made his appearance in the club since the start of this new campaign and his position is taken by the newly arrived Tyrell Malacia.
