Real Madrid’s Winger could join Manchester United in the summer.

Marco Asensio

Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio. The Spanish winger has been in fine form for Los Blancos this season. Henceforth, it seems that his performances have not gone unnoticed by United’s scouts. If the transfer goes through, it would be a significant coup for the Red Devils.

Asensio was born in Palma, Spain in 1996. He began his football career with Mallorca’s youth system before joining Real Madrid’s academy in 2014. Since then, he has gone on to become one of the club’s most exciting young talents. He has won numerous titles with Real Madrid, including three Champions League trophies, three La Liga titles, and four Club World Cups.

Marco Asensio: Player Profile

Asensio’s main strength is his technical ability. He has excellent ball control, dribbling skills, and a keen eye for goal. He is a versatile player who can play in a variety of attacking positions. Asensio can play on the wing, in the number 10 role, or as a striker. His ability to take on defenders and create scoring opportunities has drawn comparisons to some of the game’s greatest players. His ability to shoot from outside the box is also impeccable.

If Asensio joins Manchester United, he would bring a much-needed injection of creativity and flair to the team. United’s attacking play has often been criticized for being too predictable. Henceforth, Asensio’s ability to unlock defenses could provide the team with a new dimension. He would also add a new level of depth to the squad, as his versatility would allow him to play in multiple positions and provide cover for a number of players.

Ancelotti has no issues with Asensio leaving

Carlo Ancelotti has given Manchester United the green light to sign Marco Asensio, admitting he doesn’t care if the player signs a new deal or leaves Real Madrid.

He told the media,

“He looks good to me, so I don’t know if he stays or not. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t. I don’t care much. We have some important challenges this season. The most important thing is that he contributes like last year.

“Let him continue as he is doing now. Then the club makes the most appropriate decision in the end.”
