Earlier there were rumors that Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Roma, and Juventus had shown interest in the striker. However, they either do not have the funds to match his wage or he does not fit into their vision of the club. Real Madrid was one of the clubs tipped to have shown an interest in signing Ronaldo. However, they too have rejected the idea of resigning Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is arguably Real Madrid’s greatest-ever player. Ronaldo has done remarkable things in the white jersey that players can only dream of. Not only is he Real Madrid’s top scorer of all time with 446 goals, but he has also won several accolades as he won the Champions League 4 times and La Liga twice in his 9 years at the club.

No interest

Although Ronaldo has had a stellar career at Real Madrid, They have rejected the idea of signing him again. This does not come as a shock as Real have moved on from Ronaldo. Madrid have the services of Karim Benzema who does Ronaldo’s dirty work now and seems to be in the form of his life. Moreover, Benzema is most likely to bring back the Ballon D’or to Santiago Bernabeu later in the year.

Madrid also has the services of young players like Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr who have been vital for them and are rising stars in their own right. Bringing Ronaldo back would cause a power struggle within the team. Moreover, Real Madrid are a stable team with the right blend of experience and youth.
