Real Madrid is willing to delay any announcement pertaining to Kylian Mbappe if a deal is agreed with him next month.
Los Blancos tried their best last season with them submitting a bid of £170 million for Kylian Mbappe only for PSG to reject it.
As expected Kylian Mbappe has not renewed his contract with the Parisians and many clubs including Real Madrid can initiate talks with him.
Real Madrid was looking to sign a pre-contract with Kylian Mbappe however things have changed because of the New Champions League draw. They will face PSG in the RO16. According to AS, Real Madrid is going to wait after the match ends, out of respect for PSG. They will only announce the signing of Kylian Mbappe if done after the match ends.
The report also states that Mbappe is willing to sign a staggering 6 six-year contract with Real Madrid till 2028.
However, speaking to reporters, he has insisted that he is happy with PSG as well.
Can Kylian Mbappe break the number 7 curse for Real Madrid?
Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to join Juventus, there was a void in the squad. It was expected that Real Madrid would struggle without Ronaldo because, for a period of time, he was the best in the world. Since Cristiano’s departure, both number 7’s have failed for Madrid, surely there won’t be another player like Ronaldo was for Madrid.

Eden failed to produce his best for Los Blancos as he used to with Chelsea. On the other hand, Vinicius Jr has stepped up his game since they faced Liverpool last season in the Champions League quarter-finals.
If Real Madrid signs Kylian Mbappe, he can definitely break the number 7 curse. He has told many times that his idol is Cristiano Ronaldo and his favorite club is Real Madrid. When talking about his playstyle and impact, Kylian Mbappe is similar to Cristiano Ronaldo as well. In terms of numbers, he cannot be as good as Ronaldo was, but Kylian is extremely great at dribbling, creating chances, and goal scoring as well.
It is possible that Mbappe will play as a winger with Vinicius Jr on the other flank and Karim Benzema up front. Not only will Mbappe break the number 7 curse, but he has shown in Euros and Nations League that a duo of him and Benzema is extremely dangerous for defenders.
