Newcastle’s 2021 – 2022 season was a roller coaster ride for the Magpie’s fans. Newcastle United wants to bring Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic to St. James Park. The club finishes at 11th place after a 12 wins run in their final 18 games. Eventually, Newcastle became the first team in Premier League history to avoid relegation. Earlier failing to win any of their first 14 games.
Newcastle United is the 9th English club to win the highest trophies. Newcastle have won four League titles, six FA Cups, and a FA Charity Shield. Also, the Magpies has also won the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup.
Newcastle United to reach Christian Pulisic from Chelsea
Newcastle United are eager to see the American Professional Football player in their iconic Black and White strip. Certainly, Newcastle wants to strengthen his team by introducing an American Winger into the squad. Not only Newcastle but also Pulisic had struggled to find consistency in the Premier League. Newcastle United are willing to sign £58m in the summer transfer window for the American. Pulisic’s brilliant form in the last season caught the eyes of every Premier League fan around the world. Even more United legend Gary Neville compares him to Chelsea’s significant winger Eden Hazard.
Even being a greatly talented player, Pulisic still struggled to note down his name in the Blues starting XI. The 23-year-old, under german manager Thomas Tuchel, had a brilliant last season. Pulisic during his career in the Blues won the One Champions League. FIFA Club World cup and UEFA Supercup.
On 2nd January 2019, Pulisic arrived at Stamford Bridge for an estimated of £58 million transfer fee from Borussia Dortmund. The American had a tremendous season in BVB which eventually caught the eyes of the Selectors all around the World. The young American had impressed everyone in Europe with his prominent skill.
But at times, Pulisic hasn’t quite managed to match his definite form for the Blues. And Newcastle are very keen on bringing the 23-year-old to St James’ Park. With the arrival of Raheem Sterling, chances for the American to show his talent and worth are reduced. Both Sterling and Pulisic play as a winger.
The Magpies under Eddie Howe have been searching for an option to build up their attacking line. But certainly wants the young American to play at St James’ Park. Although it is still unclear whether the Blues would let Pulisic leave the club.
