Manchester United are at the top in signing Gabriel Veron, the Palmeiras attacker in the Premier League’s summer transfer window.
The young striker has been linked to Manchester City. He has scored 11 goals and 5 assists in his 40 appearances for his Brazilian club in all competitions.
This summer, the teenager is planning to move out of his current club. Sassuolo, Serie A club are looking to get the signatures of Veron this summer. The other clubs who are willing to sign him are Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
According to Calciomercato, Manchester United are running at the top for the attacker.
The report claims that Sassuolo are showing their interest in signing Veron in a few days. The Red Devils have to crack the deal and bring the attacker to Old Trafford as soon as possible.
Veron, represented Brazil Under-17s in 16 matches, as a right-sided attacker. He can also play on the left side and through the centre.
Manchester United signing Gabriel Veron?
Manchester United has already signed Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer and they are planning to sign Real Madrid’s centre back Raphael Varane and Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga in future.
Veron is a centre forward who uses his low centre of gravity and acceleration to irritate the defenders. He can go anywhere with the frontline and so that he takes the opponents fearlessly.
The striker takes thundering acrobatic volleys, breezing-fast through the full-backs and regularly picking up the right pass when his teammates find himself in free or goal-scoring space.
Veron’s quick feet frequently get him out of tight spots. He finds himself with two opponents in the middle of the park, but his quick flicks helped him in getting free and running towards the defence.
The centre forward plays at right-wing where Reds have struggled in the last few seasons, so he can be the right candidate for them to sign.
