Cristiano Ronaldo can join Manchester City

The Premier League champions Manchester City are planning to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. He can be an ideal replacement for Sergio Aguero who has gone to Barcelona.

Manchester City are thinking of including a  new striker in their team. After the departure of their record goalscorer Aguero, they are planning to sign an appropriate player for this position. They will be buying a striker as soon as possible as the summer transfer window is about to close in six weeks time in August.

The Citizen’s, earlier linked with the signing of two-star centre forwards Harry Kane and Braut Erling Haaland from Tottenham Hotspurs and Borussia Dortmund respectively. But Pep Guardiola’s team is not able to live to the expectations of both the clubs for the deal.

“The Citizens are planning to sign Cristiano Ronaldo as a replacement for Sergio Aguero,” said Calciomercato, the Italian outlet. Previously, he has played with their rivals Manchester United for 6 years.

Will Manchester City be able to sign Cristiano Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo has played for 3 years with Juventus. He has scored 101 goals and 22 assists in 133 appearances for the club. 

The Portugal international’s contract is going to finish this year. The Bianconeri are also interested in signing a deal with the superstar forward.

The Red Devils and Paris Saint-Germain are also showing their interest and are in the race to sign a deal with Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a versatile attacker. He is capable of playing on either wing and through the centre of the field. The Portuguese attacker is right-footed but his left foot is also strong. He is ranked as one of the fastest footballers. The striker is famous for his dribbling and flair and for his tricks and feints. His step-overs and so-called ‘chops’ have become his trademarks.
