Ukraine 0-4 England Post-match analysis:

England went ahead just blink of an eye from the start. Raheem Sterling’s excellent through ball found Kane in the box and the England captain made no mistake to convert the chance.

The Three Lions dominated the possession but couldn’t create clear cut opportunities. On the other hand, Ukraine had few half chances to get back into the game but it was not enough to bring them level before the first half.

England completely thrashed the Ukrainians in the second half, Maguire doubled the margin on the 46th-minute mark. Luke Shaw’s outstanding cross found the fellow Manchester United defender and the big centre-back made no mistake to finish it off.

Soon after, Kane scored the third from yet another delicious cross of Shaw. The left-back cross was excellently finished by the Tottenham Hotspur man. Substitute Henderson scored the fourth one from a Mason Mount’s corner. Following the victory against Ukraine England qualified for the semi-final of Euro 2020.

Notable Performances:

Harry Kane: After failing to impact in the group games, the Englishman has now scored three goals in two knock-out games. These two goals on the night will be a big boost for him in the semifinal.

Luke Shaw: The Manchester United left-back has now found his feet yet again and is proving his capabilities at both ends of the pitch. His two assists on the night were the dream for the attackers.

Raheem Sterling: He did not have a great season coming into the competition. But, he has shown his quality and the through ball for the first goal was absolutely genius.
