Bayern Munich Eye a move for Manchester City and Manchester United target Victor Osimhen

About Football Express UK

Bayern Munich eye a move for Manchester City and Manchester United target Victor Osimhen. The Bavarians have joined the race to sign Napoli forward Victor Osimhen. But they will face a stiff challenge from the other clubs in Europe as well.

The 22-year-old has made 11 appearances this season and scored on 9 occasions for Napoli. However, the Napoli Forward has netted 19 Goals in 41 Appearances in all competitions since making his debut for the Serie A side. Meanwhile, Manchester City and Manchester United are also looking to land the Nigerian International into their team.

La Liga giants Real Madrid have identified the 22-year-old as an alternative for Kylian Mbappe. Therefore, PSG’s stance on the Frenchman next summer will decide Madrid’s decision in pursuit of the player. On the other hand, Bayern is looking to prepare for life after Robert Lewandowski. As reported by Calciomercato. Bayern is hoping to replace Lewandowski with the Nigerian Forward.

Napoli President Aurelio de Laurentiis happy to let the player move for €100 Million if Bayern Munich wishes to sign him

The report claims that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is determined to keep hold of the Nigerian for another season but would consider offers over €100m (£84m). Victor Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in the summer of 2020. His antics at Lille certainly was the reason why Napoli signed him ahead of other clubs in Europe.

Osimhen is, therefore, a viable target for Real Madrid, although they are now facing stiff competition from Bayern Munich in pursuit of the 22-year-old. However, like Real Madrid, Bayern, too, need to be on the lookout for a striker who can be a long-term solution as the spearhead of the attacking unit.

The Bundesliga Giants have prepared a Bid of €100 Million for the Nigerian Striker. Osimhen scored 18 times and registered six assists in 38 appearances for Lille. He moved to Naples in September 2020, penning a five-year contract with the Serie A giants.
