Allison – Allison was brilliant as he made two big saves at the start however conceded moments later. Very good performance as he was a brick wall for the rest of the match.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – Shaky at the start but his defensive duties well and put in decent crosses as well.

Joel Matip – Had a good game defensively but gave away the first goal but made up for it by scoring one for Liverpool

Virgil van Dijk -Had a good game not necessarily his best but was good nonetheless. Was caught out for the opener but did well the rest of the game.

Kostas Tsimikas – Was a menace in the left flank for Liverpool in the first half and had a dip. However, had a good game overall.

Fabinho – Was injured and taken off.

Naby Keita – Controlled the play well and almost scored a long-range banger.

Curtis Jones – Didn’t receive much playtime however was good and did not show a lack of game time. Was excellent.

Attack
Luiz Dias – After saving the last time around for Liverpool, Dias turned up once again in this match. A brilliant signing possibly the best January signing.

Sadio Mane – After having a resurgence of form, Mane has been the best player for Liverpool and continued in this game by scoring the winner.

Diogo Jota – Jota does not have much to offer besides his goals and this was the case here.
