Arsenal are reportedly ready to walk away from signing of Declan Rice in the next summer. This is also because West Ham are asking a fee of 100 million.

However, the Gunners will try to tell the Hammers to knock the price down. This is also because his contract is expiring in the 2024 summer transfer window.

ARSENAL AND DECLAN RICE TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Arsenal have made Declan Rice their top target in the next summer transfer window. A report also claims that they have agreed personal terms with the midfielder. However, a report also claims that they are yet to make a bid for him. However, it also claims that Declan Rice is very much open to a move to the Gunners.

The England star midfielder has already spoken to a number of his friends about the move. A report also claims that Bukayo Saka is trying his best to convince Declan Rice to join the club. Whereas, Arsenal are not the only ones in the race for his signature. Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United are also monitoring his situation closely.

THE GUNNERS ARE ALSO READY TO PULL THE PLUG ON THE DEAL

According to reports, Arsenal are also open to a possible exit from the race for his signature. This is if West Ham ask a high price for their star midfielder. The Gunners also have no interest in getting a bidding war for the player. They also did the same with Mykhaylo Mudryk. Football Journalist Dean Jones has also provided some details.

Dean Jones speaking on the interest of Arsenal for Declan Rice further said, “I think if the price is too high, Arsenal would walk away from it,”. “I do expect them to go and have a genuine discussion over this. “They’ll ask what his price tag is, then they’ll try to knock it down from whatever the bar is set at. “But if West Ham say they are holding out for £100million, for example, I don’t see Arsenal spending £100million on Declan Rice.”

A report also claims that Arsenal are only ready to spend maximum 80 million for the England midfielder. However, West Ham are also determined to get 100 million for the midfielder. Hence, both the team will try to play the waiting game in the next summer transfer window.
