Liverpool are ready to enter the race with Chelsea to sign Declan Rice.
Although according to sources, Rice’s personal choice is Chelsea.
Liverpool and Chelsea both are keeping an eye on the midfielder as he might seem the best solution to improve their midfield area.
On the contrary, things don’t seem good for west ham as rice has probably made up his mind to leave the team next year.
What’s in the future for Declan Rice?
Chelsea has been targeting the English midfielder for some time but with Liverpool now entering the race, it’s going to be tough for the blues.
Football journalist Si Phillips has claimed that Liverpool would love to go head-to-head with Chelsea for Declan Rice.
In this race, Chelsea seems to have an edge because the preferred destination of the midfielder is still Chelsea.
Si Phillips said,
“Liverpool are very interested in signing Declan Rice next summer. Chelsea of course remain keen as well, but Liverpool could be about to enter the race to sign the England midfielder. He would always choose Chelsea over any other club if the offer is on the table from multiple clubs.”
Rice is currently a key player for David Moyes and west ham and would in no way want the captain of the team to leave next season.
