Ruben Amorim linked with Chelsea as potential new manager

Ruben Amorim to replace Mauricio Pochettino as new Chelsea Manager

Chelsea are linked with Ruben Amorim to replace Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season. Portugese manager who was linked with liverpool in last weeks has now been looked upon by the blues as their new potential manager.

Along with Amorim, Chelsea have a chance to add Viktor Gyokeres to their forward line. 25 year old Swedish international is having an amazing season at Sporting CP. He has scored 24 goals and providing 10 assists in 29 appearances. His performance along with Amorim’s tactics has caught everyone’s eye as Sporting are headed to win the Liga Portugal title. With addition of Amorim to Chelsea, the blues can force a move for Gyokeres who has £80 million release clause.

Chelsea fans unhappy with Pochettino due to inconsistent form

Chelsea fans are unhappy with their current manager and feeling like he should be sacked. The blues did a good gob against Everton in Premier League. But they failed to remain consistent and lost against Arsenal after conceding 5 goals and failing to score. This inconsistency in form is becoming an issue for Chelsea and keeping them at mid table which is causing disappointment in the fans.

Chelsea have managed to score 61 goals in league but also have conceded 57. Along with poor display of defense they seem to be lacking in scoring goals in important matches. This issue can be solved and the blues could get a chance to revive their attack by addition of sweedish striker.

“Viktor Gyokeres will go wherever Amorim goes” – Simon Phillips according to The Chelsea Chronicle.

With the understanding between Amorim and Gyokeres this possibility seems to happen and if so it will be very crucial for the blues. Chelsea were previously linked with Gyokeres. With their poor goal scoring form, they seem to go and pay £86 million and improve their front line.
