Manchester City Chelsea: Player to bargain at £15.75m after game

About Football Express UK

Manuel Akanji excelled in defence as Manchester City defeated Chelsea 4-0 on Sunday to advance to the FA Cup fourth round.

City gave him a start in the cup after his rewarding performance against Chelsea.

Akanji partnered with Aymeric Laporte at centre back and helped the team retain a clean sheet while stifling Chelsea’s offence. Over the course of the game’s 90 minutes, the Blues mustered just one shot on target from three total attempts. The Blues looked poor against the Pep Guardiola coached side Manchester City.
