The coach likely possesses knowledge about Djordje Petrovic’s imminent signing, enabling him to openly express his desire for a player in that specific position, with the assurance that his wish will be fulfilled in the near future.
He also included, although with less certainty, that the club would contemplate the acquisition of an attacking player, provided they come across an individual possessing the suitable “profile.”
Chelsea manager said: “We were talking about one offensive player, the right profile. If we can add the right profile yes, but [we don’t want] to bring players [for the sake of it], to stop the evolution of some young guys.”
