Champions League Round of 16 draws are done as Liverpool have a chance for revenge

Champions League

On Monday 7th November, UEFA conducted the Champions league RO16 draw and we have some blockbusters fixtures in the knockout round.

The first leg will be taking place on 14-15 and 21-22 of February 2023. Furthermore, on 7-8 and 14-15 March, the second leg will take place.

HOW UEFA conducts the draw

The draw took in Switzerland on Monday. The teams are seeded 2 pots based on their group rankings.

In one pot all the group winners are present and in the other, the 2nd position teams are kept.

Teams are drawn from both the respective pots to decide the fixture.

However, Teams from the same league and same group cannot be drawn together.

For example – Liverpool cannot draw Manchester City or Chelsea because they are from the same league.

They also cannot draw Napoli as they are from the same group.
