According to reports, Arsenal wantaway player Nicolas Pepe is open to a move to Saudi Arabia. The report also claims that Mikel Arteta does not have Pepe in his long-term plans. Hence, he will allow the player to leave the Premier League club. The agent of Nicolas Pepe is also working with the Gunners in resolving his client’s future.
The report claims that multiple Saudi Arabian sides have approached the player. However, they have also got the message that they will have to pay a transfer fee to Arsenal. This is because Pepe has one more contract with the Gunners. However, Gunners are willing to let him leave for a lower price. They understand that it is best for all parties to part ways in the upcoming summer transfer window.
THE GUNNERS WILL REINVEST THE TRANSFER FEE INTO NEW SIGNINGS
According to reports, Arsenal would like a fee of 15-20 million for Nicolas Pepe. They are willing to take a loss to get his wages off the book. The Gunners would like to invest the transfer fee and saved wages into signing new players for Mikel Arteta. Mikel Arteta would like to sign Declan Rice and Kai Havertz as priority players in the next summer transfer window.
Arsenal have already made a proposal to Kai Havertz. The player is also open to a move. However, the Gunners will have to negotiate a fee with Chelsea. Whereas, the club are also preparing a record bid for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice. Hence, the Gunners will also have to make sure that they balance their financial books with the sale of Nicolas Pepe.
