According to reports, Arsenal are open to selling Thomas Partey in the next summer transfer window. The report also claims that the Gunners initially wanted to extend his contract. However, in the recent months, negotiations have stopped between the Gunners and his agent. Therefore, Thomas Partey will now have choose between ambition and money.

The Arsenal midfielder will have offers from Saudi Arabia. However, Thomas Partey will also have offers from plenty of European clubs. Hence, it is now all about his choice. The European interested clubs will also have to agree a fee with the Gunners. Whereas, the Gunners are monitoring the situation of Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia to replace Partey.
GUNNERS WANT ROMEO LAVIA TO REPLACE THOMAS PARTEY
According to reports, Arsenal are also exploring options to replace Thomas Partey. The report also claims that Romeo Lavia leads the list. Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is also on the list. However, Brighton are demanding a fee of 80 million to sell him. At the moment, the Gunners are going to spend a big chunk of money on Declan Rice.
Whereas, Moises Caicedo is closer to a move to Chelsea. He is also in advanced negotiations to agree personal terms with the Blues. Therefore, Arsenal have shifted their focus on Romeo Lavia. However, he is not their priority target. They will only move for him, if they sell Thomas Partey. Southampton want a fee closer to 40 million for Romeo Lavia.
Thomas Partey has played an important role under Mikel Arteta for Arsenal. However, he is also injury-prone. His injury issues also means that Thomas Partey misses very important matches. Therefore, it would be good decision for all parties to finally part ways in the next summer transfer window.
