Liverpool

Liverpool young goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga has received his international duty call. The 20 year old hasn’t even made his senior debut for the Reds. He is included in Brazil’s U23 squad as they are preparing for the Olympics 2024 qualifiers. Moreover, the Brazilian will only benefit from the international duty. Reason being that he’s going to get a taste of a higher level of the game. We all know that there is always huge expectations from the players when they’re playing for the national team. This pressure in return, helps the players to maintain their composure in these type of situations. Moreover, this will allow the youngsters to play with confidence. When they make their senior team debut for their respective clubs, this confidence is gonna help them.

Furthermore, these youngsters will attract intrest from big clubs for sure if they perform well in these international matches. The coaches can sign these players beforehand and nurture their talent to make them world class players.

Liverpool young goalkeeper has been admired by his former teammate and that’s a huge compliment.

According to empireofthekop, Pitaluga has been impressive for the Reds U21 side. He’s conceded just 6 goals in as many games. He even has maintained 3 clean sheets in the same number of games.

Moreover, he has been termed as ‘something special’ by none other than the Reds main goalkeeper, Allison Becker. Allison is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and if he’s admiring someone, than that player has something special in him. However, we are yet to see that what’s special in this 20 year old goalkeeper. Although he’s got a quite decent performance for the reds junior team, but he has to prove himself in the national team as well. We hope that he performs well enough to get his premier league debut in the coming time. We could be witnessing another great shot stopper anytime soon.
