Indeed, the reports indicate that Liverpool went as far as offering a loan back to LASK as part of the deal to sign Keito Nakamura. However, even with this additional offer, the Austrian side still declined the proposal and did not agree to the transfer.

LASK remains firm in their demand for €11 million (£9.5 million) as the transfer fee for Keito Nakamura. Despite being relatively close with a difference of just £3.5 million, Liverpool has not yet returned with a revised bid to meet LASK’s asking price for the winger.

Current Premier League Standings

With Liverpool showing interest in Keito Nakamura, Lille may now be in a race to secure the signing of the winger. The competition for Nakamura’s signature could intensify, making the situation more competitive for Lille.

Why are Liverpool desperate for Keito Nakamura?

Keito Nakamura began his professional career with Gamba Osaka. However, he had limited opportunities with the first team, featuring in only 38 matches before he made the move to Europe.

Since joining LASK, Keito Nakamura has showcased his talent, scoring 26 goals and providing nine assists in 68 first-team appearances. Notably, he netted 17 goals during the last season, highlighting his growing impact and effectiveness on the field.

Keito Nakamura has received high praise from former LASK boss Dietmar Kuhbauer.
