ARSENAL MIDFIELDER JORGINHO IS STARTING TO SHOW HIS PREMIER LEAGUE EXPERIENCE

According to reports, Arsenal never wanted to sign Jorginho at first place in the January transfer window. They only kept him as a back-up signing for Moises Caicedo. However, the Gunners could not agree a deal with Brighton. Hence, Mikel Arteta decided to reignite his long-term interest in Jorginho. Arteta had tried to sign him multiple times.

However, he failed to sign him and Jorginho ended up signing for Chelsea. Although, both of them had mutual respect for each other in the conversations. Hence, Arsenal ended up signing Jorginho from Chelsea in the deadline day for his Premier League. It is also clear that his composure on the ball and his determinations from his Chelsea days is starting to show for the Gunners.

FOOTBALL JOURNALIST MAKES A VERY EARLY EYE-RAISING CLAIMS

Football Journalist Paul Brown has said that Arsenal were lucky to sign Jorginho and miss out on Mykhaylo Mudryk. This is after Mudryk’s string of poor performances for Chelsea after his impressive debut against Liverpool. The Gunners wanted to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk in January. However, they missed out as Chelsea ended up paying the transfer fee Shakhtar demanded.

However, it looks like Arsenal at the moment are feeling lucky after missing out Mudryk. Paul Brown further said, “I think it’s fair to say that, at the moment, Arsenal probably think they’ve had a bit of a lucky escape there not bringing him to the club. I’m sure Mudryk will get better with time. “He needs a bit of time to settle and adapt to life here in a different country and a new league. “However, Jorginho has immediately settle with Arsenal. Hence, at the moment, the Gunners have got the better deal.

Arsenal will hope that Jorginho continues to put in impressive performances till the end of the season. His form is very important for the rest of the season in the title race. Whereas, Chelsea will hope that Mykhaylo Mudryk is only going through transition period at the moment.
