However, each of the player is also likely to cost over 50 million in transfer fee. Hence, the owners could again back Mikel Arteta in the transfer windows.

According to reports, Arsenal are likely to make big money moves for attacking players in the next summer transfer window. The report also claims that the targets are Moussa Diaby and Julian Brandt. Moussa Diaby has helped Bayer Leverkusen climb the Bundesliga table from relegation battle under Xabi Alonso. Whereas, Julian Brandt continues his brilliant form with Borussia Dortmund.

Hence, other than Arsenal, many other top clubs are also keeping an eye on the situation of both the players. The teams of both the players are also likely ready to sell their star players for the right price. However, Leverkusen values Diaby for at least 80 million. Whereas, Brandt is valued by Dortmund for at least 50-60 million.
THE GUNNERS WILL NOT GET INTO BIDDING WAR FOR BOTH OF THE PLAYERS
According to reports, Arsenal owners are also going to back Mikel Arteta with more funds. They also think that Arteta will win the Premier League. Hence, the owners are ready to give a big budget to Arteta to potentially defend the title. However, a report also claims that the Gunners are not going to overpay in terms of transfer fee for the player.
Arsenal owners have already showed that by backing out of the Mykhaylo Mudryk deal. Hence, Edu Gaspar will only go for players that are desperate to go to the Gunners. Mikel Arteta has also said in interviews that they will not get involved in bidding war for the Gunners. The main example of that was backing out for the signing of Lisandro Martinez.
Hence, at the moment Moussa Diaby and Julian Brandt will have to push for a move to Arsenal. However, Leverkusen and Dortmund will also try their best to keep the players. Although, the ambition of the Gunners is definitely an exciting prospect for the potential new signings.
