Mateo Kovacic has been impressive so far this season for Chelsea in Premier League and Champions League. Chelsea continues their good form with a win over AC Milan on Tuesday.
Mateo Kovacic shines for Chelsea against AC Milan
AC Milan had to play with 10 men after a red card was shown in the 18th minute to Tomori. Chelsea were all over Milan after the red card shown scoring two goals in the first half. Goals from Aubameyang and Jorginho were enough to seal the win.
One name who is not making the headlights is Kovacic. He came, did his job, and left unnoticed. Darren Bent a pundit on TalkSport praised the Croatian midfielder for his performance.

“Some really good performance against AC Milan. I thought Kovacic was good; he kept possession of the ball and moved it really well.”
Kovacic was the second player with the most passes, with Jorginho the only player ahead of him.
Graham Potter will be quite pleased with this duo as they look to climb back to the top in Premier League. Chelsea will face Aston Villa on Sunday who are unbeaten in their last four games and have conceded just two goals.
