Marcus Rashford praised by Owen Hargraves – ‘He can score 250 goals’

About Football Express UK

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has been in fine form lately. Recently, he scored in both United’s wins against Sheriff and West Ham. He has scored seven goals so far this season. That is two more than his poor record last season. His goal against West Ham was also his 100th goal for United.

Rashford’s success this season has been noted by ex-United and Bayern midfielder Owen Hargraves. Speaking in the aftermath of United’s 3-0 win over Sheriff in the Europa League, he said:

“I was blown away by the numbers there, 99 goals at 24, it’s amazing. By the time he’s finished, he could have 250 goals for United. He’s just a quality player, everything’s there. I love his talent I really do. He just needs to be a little more consistent and the goals will fly in for him.”

Where does the future of Marcus Rashford lie?

The English international’s contract runs out next season, although there is an option for a one-year extension. The 25-year-old has firmly been placed as one of Erik Ten Hag’s preferred strikers this season alongside Antony Martial. United are likely to be keen to keep Rashford, as one of their key players.

Marcus Rashford is currently 13th in United’s all-time goal scorers list. Wayne Rooney ranks first with 253 goals, while Cristiano Ronaldo ranks seventh having scored 145 goals for Manchester United.

Many clubs are reportedly interested in securing Rashford’s signature, including Chelsea and PSG. Rashford is well-regarded for his athleticism and pace on the football field. He is also known for his philanthropic efforts in combating racism, poverty, and child hunger in the UK.
