Manchester City- Pep may ‘walk away’ from Etihad next season

About Football Express UK

According to pundit Kevin Campbell, Pep Guardiola may leave Manchester City at the end of this season .

Manchester city’s gaffer has entered in his final 12 months of the contract and so far has refused to extend his contract.

Daily mail reported that he will be making a decision in the upcoming world cup break and his wife will be a big influence.

Kevin Campbell on Pep’s future

When football insider asked Kevin that if Pep will sign a new contract or not, he said:

“I am not sure it will happen.” “It has gone quite quiet. He should not be allowed to get down to the final seven months of his contract. If I was a Man City fan I would be worried.

“At the end of this season, he may walk away. He is key to everything and right now he is not secure.”

“Listen, he might sign a new deal in the break. But there is a serious risk of things being unsettled.”

Guardiola certainly holds all the power when it comes to decision making and now its up to the board to offer him the best contract.

He had a very successful period with Manchester City as he won 276, draw 43 and lost only 54 games out of 373 games. He has an average of 2.34 points per game (transfermarket).

Pep has led Manchester city to 11 titles and this will surely increase once he signs that new deal.
