Since leaving Real Madrid’s managerial position in 20/21, Zinedine Zidane is yet to make a return to the pitch.
However, the former Ballon d’Or winner has been linked to numerous teams including Manchester United.
Thierry Henry predicts Zidane’s future
Former Arsenal legend, Theirry Henry has revealed Zidane’s next destination. According to Henry, Zidane is eyeing the France national football.

The former world cup winner has been away from the game for a long time since last managing Real Madrid. During his period as Real’s manager, he won the team 3 consecutive Champions League titles.
Although after he left Madrid, Zidane has been linked to every possible club where a managerial spot was available.
The most infamous one was linked to Manchester United after the sack of United legend Ole Gunnar Solskajer.
Apart from that, he had some heavy links with PSG also, and also looks like a candidate for his former team Juventus.
Allegri’s position in Juventus seems more in danger than ever as the Old lady failed to qualify for the knockout stages in the champions league.
But when asked about Zidane taking over at Juve, Henry told CBS Sports:
“I’m not going to go there, I think he is waiting for the national team. So I’m not going to go there. I don’t think he will go there [Juventus]. I think he is waiting for one thing and one thing only and that’s the national team
Pressed on whether he knew if the France job would be available in the coming months, he added:
“I don’t actually know but Zizou has been waiting. He’s been linked with a lot of clubs and it never happened. I don’t think Zizou would want to do it, I can see him waiting for the national team and it makes total sense.”
Despite all these rumors, Henry favored the move to France’s national team.
Zidane reveals his future plans
Zidane this week has hinted his return to the dugout is close, telling RMC Sport:
“Do I miss the coach’s suit? No, I’m not far away, we wait, we wait a little bit. Soon, soon. I’m not far from coaching again.
The managing situation in the football world is very tricky right now with managers getting soon rapidly.
Henry although was not in favor of this and suggested his old team Juventus have patients with the manager. He set Mikel’s ( arsenal manager ) period as an example and asked the teams to trust Allegri.
