Federico Valverde reveals that went for a trail at Arsenal when he was young.

Arsenal is a club that most of the players want to play for. Moreover, the Gunners are in incredible form since the last 2 seasons. Because of this, all the big names in world football want to join this club. No one would ever miss even half a chance to come to the Emirates Stadium. However, there’s one star midfielder who came on a trial at Arsenal when he was 16. We’re talking about the Real Madrid star Federico Valverde. The Uruguay international has been a great asset to the Los Blancos since his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu. Furthermore, he was the one who assisted Vinicius Junior’s goal against Liverpool in the 2022 champions league final that led his team to another European title under Carlo Ancelotti.

According to the Dailystar, Federico Valverde came on a trial at Arsenal when he was 16. The Real Madrid star says that he doesn’t have anything in personal with the London club. However, he was very young that time and was finding it difficult to adapt to a new country. In addition to that, he revealed that his family weren’t comfortable moving to England in a new culture. Because of this, Valverde decided to not to come to Arsenal as he’d have a difficult time adjusting here all by himself.

Federico Valverde hasn’t looked back ever since that trial.
