Frank Lampard

Merseyside club Everton and its manager Frank Lampard want to bring back the Glory days at Goodison Park. The English club from Liverpool was founded in 1878. Although, Everton were in the English Premier League for a record 113 seasons. But, they didn’t lift a single trophy since 1995. Just two seasons before, Everton were one of the clubs that could possibly challenge the top six. By appointing Carlo Ancelotti and singing a number of top-class players. But the idea was dropped last season. Due to the departure of Carlo Ancelotti from the club. But now, things have again taken a turn for the Toffees, by the arrival of Frank Lampard. Former England captain and Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard is eager to bring the glory days back to Goodison Park.

Everton finished 16th in the points table last season, just 4 points above relegation. The 9 times league champions sure do want to make their comeback in the English League this season. But, there are not much improvement to the Merseyside club. As the Toffees are still at the 16th position after opening 6 matches. Moreover, Frank Lampard’s side are still looking for their first victory this season.

Can Frank Lampard bring back the Glory days to Everton?

The Everton manager Frank Lampard had a busy Summer transfer this season. Everton brought James Garner, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Neal Maupay, Conor Coady, Amadou Onana, and Dwight McNeil, in the summer signing. Everton’s manager wants to reinforce the team’s attack and defence. Signing all attackers to add more firepower to the attacking line. And also to strengthen the club’s defence.

Moreover, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said that;

“They’re working on many strikers, Ben Brereton Diaz, and there are many, many players really that they are considering for that position.”
