About Football Express UK

Erling Haaland has had a great start to his career at Man City. The Norwegian striker has bagged 11 goals for the reigning Premier League champion. Senior Haaland has said that the striker will only stay at Man City “for three or four years at the most “.

Erling Haaland wants a short career at Manchester City

Erling Haaland had signed a five-year contract with Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for £51 million. The striker might be the missing piece in the Pep Guardiola site. He can lead them to their first champions league glory. However, that might not last very long.

Haaland’s dad Alf-Inge speaking in the documentary Haaland: The Big Decision, he said,

“I think Erling wants to prove his Abilities in all leagues. Then he can stay there [Manchester City] for three or four years at the most. He could be, for example, two-and-a-half years in Germany, two -and-a-half years in England, and then in Spain, Italy, France, right?”

What does the future hold for Erling Haaland who was linked with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG? He further added,

“On our list, I think City is the best team,”

he said,

“[Bayern] Munich is number two. We have Real Madrid as number three, Paris Saint-Germain as number four. We also have some English teams other than City who are quite good. Liverpool and Chelsea Also, there is Barcelona. They are sort of in the same row.”

Haaland will look to continue his goal-scoring form as the Blues take on Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.
