Who Could it be?
A number of players are connected with a move to London. It appears like Chelsea has been searching for a new central midfielder for some time. Only three midfielders have been the subject of rumors: Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez, West Ham’s Declan Rice, and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.

Furthermore, with the majority of new hires at the back and in attack, Madueke will bring the club’s total January spending to £190 million. It explains why a new midfielder may now be on the cards.
If this unidentified target can play a number of midfield positions, it should help Graham Potter because Jorginho is currently the only holding midfielder available due to the injuries to N’Golo Kante and Denis Zakaria.
