Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has sent a supportive message to injured Takheiro Tomiyasu. This is after his injury update got announced.

The injury update also confirms that he is out for this season. Hence, Ben White is the only right-back fit in the team.

ARSENAL TO MISS TAKHEIRO TOMIYASU FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

Arsenal have confirmed in the statement that Takheiro Tomiyasu has suffered a significant injury. Hence, he will also miss the rest of the season. Therefore, his teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko has also sent a supportive message. He wrote on Instagram, “Come back stronger brother.” This message also shows the love among the teammates.

The Arsenal official statement also confirms that he has suffered significant damage to his knee. Hence, he has also undergone knee surgery. Therefore, the Gunners medical team hopes that Tomiyasu can return to full fitness before the start of the next season. The announcement also means that Ben White will potentially start every game for the remainder of the season.

THE GUNNERS WILL HAVE TO MANAGE THE GAME TIME OF BEN WHITE

The injury to Tomiyasu means that Arsenal now only have Ben White for the right back problem. However, the good news is England have not called him up for the international duty. Hence, Ben White will get proper rest before the busy schedule for the rest of the season. Therefore, it look like the Gunners will have less complaints of Gareth Southgate’s team selections.

Although, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has to keep on making changes to formations. This will help Ben White get some rest in the matches they are winning. Hence, the Gunners can substitute him. They have also tried Thomas Partey in the right-back position.

Hence, it is clear that Arsenal will try different things to tackle the injury crisis in the right-back position. Whereas, they will hope that Saliba recovers from injury to avoid further injury crisis.
