Liverpool to potentially target 22-year old Attacker

About Football Express UK

Liverpool will be desperately looking at future windows to strengthen in the future. Coach Jurgen Klopp will be well aware of the various areas which need strengthening in the Merseyside club.

Multiple Liverpool first-team members are reaching the age of 30. They will likely need to be replaced in the coming years.

The likes of Jude Bellingham and Ibrahima Konaté are likely to be top transfer targets. Many names have also propped up as options for Jurgen Klopp to improve the Liverpool attack.

Several players have shined in matches against the Reds this season. Leandro Trossard had a hat trick for Brighton. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also excelled in his cameo for Napoli.

However, American manager Jim Curtin believes that Klopp may be eyeing a different recruit. He offers Leeds United’s Brendan Aaronson as a potential target for Liverpool.

What does Brendan Aaronson bring to Liverpool?

Curtin highlighted Aaronson‘s performance against Liverpool while tipping him for a move to the Merseyside club.

The 22-year-old American arrived at Elland Road from RB Salzburg. He has started every match this season under Jesse Marsch. The winger has been the sole consistent attacker in Marsch’s line-up while other players rotated around him.

Brendan Aaronson provides a different option from Liverpool’s other attackers. He usually plays as an attacking midfielder or winger. At Anfield, he played a central attacking role. He also put in a decent defensive shift.
