Dean Henderson returns back to Carrington for his rehabilitation

Dean Henderson and Lisandro Martinez have returned early to Manchester United’s training centre ahead of the pre-season campaign.

Henderson spent the recent season on loan with Nottingham Forest. He made the decision to join Steve Cooper’s side without any contact with manager Erik ten Hag.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper had a good stint with Forest until January when he picked up a thigh injury . The setback ended up ruling him out for the remainder of the campaign.

Henderson went through a surgery earlier this month,

But it is said that he is fit the start of the new season. and now returned to Carrington for his training.

Manchester Evening News report that Forest are preparing a deal worth £30 million for Henderson ,

And the goalkeeper is determine that he will make the permanent move.

Martinez is another early arrival at the Training centre as he looks to complete his recovery from a metatarsal surgery.

The goalkeeper is understood to be perplexed by to stay at United and fight for the No.1 role under ten hag.
