Arsenal may need to be busy in the January transfer window. The north London club have been in poor form as of late, losing three of their last five Premier League games.
And they may need some fresh blood in the side to turn the tide.
The Gunners have consistently been linked with signing a new striker with the likes of Ivan Toney strongly linked, while a new midfielder is reportedly also on the agenda with both Douglas Luiz and Joao Palhinha linked.
However, speaking on Five, David Ornstein has highlighted another position that Arsenal can recruit in,
Claiming that he’s heard some suggestions that the Gunners could look to strengthen at left-back despite the fact Oleksandr Zinchenko is a key player in that position.

Ornstein shared what he’s hear about Arsenal.
“I don’t know, maybe a loan, I’ve heard suggestions about potentially strengthening at left-back, but that may not come until the summer
Because Arsenal are already short on numbers, they need to get the players they have fit and then if they can bring someone in on a short-term basis it’s not beyond the realms of possibility,” Ornstein said.
But do they really need to boost that position as they have Timber on that position too? should they be looking for a new striker who can provide some goals.
Arsenal may be looking at a new left-back, but we can’t help but wonder whether or not this sort of move would be wise.
Yes, they’re having problems in that position right now, but both Zinchenko
And Jurrien Timber should be back from injury before too long.
Zinchenko has been brilliant for Arsenal in that position for 18 months now,
And it’s hard to imagine how any new signings would be able to compete with the £35m man,
And it will be even tougher to get into this Arsenal team once Timber is back as well.
Arsenal might not actually need a new left-back through the door this month.
