Oleksandr Zinchenko was recently spotted in Orlando wearing Arsenal’s training kit.

His deal has not been made official by Arsenal till now.

It is known that Arsenal have reached a deal with Manchester City to sign the Ukrainian for an initial fee of £ 30 million plus £2m add-ons. The 25-year-old has also agreed on personal terms with the Gunners. His contract at the Emirates stadium extends up to a four-year contract.

At the Emirates, Zinchenko is set to reunite with his former coach Mikel Arteta at City. The Gunners are presently stationed in Orlando for their pre-season tour in the USA. City are also based in the USA with its bases in Houston.

The Ukrainian left-back flew to Orlando to join the Arsenal squad. He would complete his medicals soon at the Arsenal camp, before his official unveiling by Arsenal. Arsenal have not yet made Zinchenko’s signing official yet. However, it is a matter of time before he is unveiled.

What did Pep Guardiola have to say about Oleksandr Zinchenko’s exit from the club?

In a press conference, Guardiola stated that Zinchenko was able to bid farewell to the rest of the City squad.

He said,

Zinchenko, like Gabriel [Jesus] and Raheem [Sterling], the impact of these three players has been massive, incredible people and exceptional players, they move on.”

Chelsea and Arsenal are incredible clubs, I’m happy for the success they’ll have there.”

It was nice yesterday with Oleks because we could say bye properly. Unfortunately with Raheem and Gabriel we could not do it because it was the summer time, but with Oleks we had dinner together, we could say bye to him and move on to Arsenal.”

City are set to make a great profit from the selling of Zinchenko.

He was signed by City from Russian club FC Ulfa for a fee of £1.8m back in 2016.
