About Football Express UK

The latest name to be mentioned in connection with Manchester United is Wout Weghorst. The Dutchman plans to sign a loan deal from Burnley through Istanbul. However, The deal is much more complicated than it sounds.

Wout François Maria Weghorst is a Dutch professional football player who currently plays as a striker for the Netherlands national team and Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş on loan from EFL Championship club Burnley. With Emmen, Weghorst began playing professionally in the second division of Dutch football.

Weghorst to ditch Besiktas for Manchester United move

Weghorst said his final goodbye to the BJK supporters on Saturday. He appeared to have forgotten that he still has a contract to fulfill with the club till the end of the current campaign. Any agreement with Manchester United would be difficult for Besiktas’ sporting director to make. However, both parties are trying to find a solution.

“I don’t understand why he made such a move,”

Kazanci said.

“He can’t just go. There will have to be a reward for us to approve the separation. I’ll give an example. Burnley told us: ‘We made a deal with this team for Weghorst. We give you half of the transfer fee.’ This may be a different condition. Then we’ll sit down and talk.”

Wout Weghorst has requested Besiktas to cancel his loan and allow him to sign with Manchester United this winter. The 30-year-old must be released from his contract with Besiktas in order to join the Premier League’s powerhouses because he is currently on a one-season loan from Burnley to the Turkish club.

The Telegraph claims that both sides are “hopeful” that Weghorst can reach an agreement on a loan move to Manchester United this month despite the absence of a recall mechanism in the original contract. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Joao Felix, and Memphis Depay are some of the options Manchester United are exploring. Due to their limited resources, the Manchester club is only able to sign players on loans.
